• Question: do you like this job or does it get boring sometimes

      All jobs have an element of boredom, especially when you have to complete all the paperwork. But it is so essential to the recording of your activities for the courtroom, that you have to just go with the flow. Much of the time there is little excitement it is more procedural and not at all like you see on the TV.

      I certainly do like (actually love!) my job. I’m always doing different things, speaking with different people, teaching, helping witness and victims of crime, and involved in research to understand and improve best practice. It never gets boring!

      I love my job and it never gets boring for me. Sometimes analysing samples in the same way, on the same instrument, day after day, can get a little tedious, but the excitement of discovering something at the end keeps me going and makes it all worth it!
