CEng – chartered engineer (“chartered” means that you have a high enough level of qualifications and experience to be recognised as a professional)
      CSci – chartered scientist
FIChemE – Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, which means I am recognised as a relatively senio person in the world of chemical engineering
FIFST – Fellow of the Institute of Science and Technology – similarly, I am a relatively senior food scientist
SFHEA – Senior Fellow of the HIgher Education Academy – again, I am relatively senior in the context of university education.

All this seniority means I must be getting old!

      Thanks for your question.
