Question: Do you create lots of mutant bacteria? and What is there purpose?

  I do. I’ve created about 200 so far in my work.
  
  Their purpose is to let me find out how the pathway works – so I change the pathway in a different way in each one and the observe the response that allows me to work out how they work.
