Question: Could you create a mutant bacteria, capable of taking over the world?

  Well I make mutant bacteria on a daily basis so that’s easy
  
  As for capable of taking over the world – yes in theory I could but that isn’t what I do to them….
  
  So you’re safe from me – however bioterrorism which is doing just that is a real concern these days as it would be quite easy to make a bacteria more pathogenic and use it as a weapon.
  
  Hopefully my sort of research will help with new antibiotics to help fight this.
