Unfortunately I don’t think it will be ‘gone’ by 2021 but we should be over the worst of it. Hopefully it will be less contagious by then and the symptoms for the majority of people will continue to be no more serious than the common cold/flu. I’m sorry I can’t give you a definitive answer but as it is a new virus it is too early to say what will happen.
It takes a long time to develop vaccines and get them through clinical trials so it might be that we only just have a vaccine by 2021. Don’t worry though, the NHS and the respective health providers across the world are doing everything possible to tackle the virus.
