Question: Whats the most amazing thing to happen when 'smashing' the nuclei together ?

To me, the most amazing thing is that we can actually measure it. It’s ridiculous that we have these massive machines with big detectors and big magnets and big voltages and big computers, and from that we can see two nuclei less than one millionth of a billionth of the size of the machine exchanging a single neutron. Extraordinary!
