• Question: what type of revision techniques did you use to prepare for major exams

      I always liked to do past papers – it was nice to see how they asked the questions and what they expected of you before an exam.

      I liked past papers, too. I’m also quite a visual person, so I used to make mind maps and sketch my answers to past questions out on posters. In my A-levels, my parents let me wallpaper over a wall and I wrote my revision notes on there.

      Past papers are really useful, especially with the mark scheme.

      For definitions, I used to ask my parents to test me — saying it out loud helped.
