It is! In the absence of complications, 50 – 60% of the liver can regenerate in roughly 30 days.

It is! And the ancient Greeks probably knew that it could do this. They had a myth about Prometheus, who stole fire from the sun to give it to humans. His punishment was being chained to a rock and an eagle came to eat his liver every other day, and it grew back each night.
