Question: what is the smallest animal?

That is a really tough question because when you get down to microscopic size people argue about what is classified as an animal.

Size is also pretty relative – so do you mean mass, height, length or weight?

The smallest animal I can think of is Stygotantulus stocki which is a crustacean (related to crabs and lobsters) that is 0.01mm in length!
