  Hi there, the Universe doesn’t actually spin around the sun. Planets like the Earth and the other things in our solar system go around the sun, but it wasn’t until telescopes first came into use in the 1600’s that scientists were able to study what was going on in space more and the sun was recognized to be at the center of the solar system!
