• Question: why do people tend not to mate outside their country or ethnic origin aside from the fact of religion

      Well, quite a lot of people do, especially nowadays as different ethnic groups mix. But the reasons people don’t are probably down to opportunity and preference. People often don’t meet many others of different ethnic groups because they live in other parts of the city or country. And some research shows that people find their own ethnic groups more attractive. However, this may be because tend to like what we are familiar with. So if we don’t meet many people who look different from us we won’t be so attracted to them.
