• Question: Why did you move to England from Germany?

      My research money (including my salary) comes from the Volkswagen (like VW, or Vera Weisbecker 🙂 ) foundation. This is a German organisation that allows Germans to do research overseas and then go back to Germany to finish their work. So I chose to first work with researchers in Cambridge and afterwards with colleagues in Germany. This is a really common thing to do for people like me!
