• Question: why are people attracted to a range of different types

      This is true to some extent, but we also agree quite a lot on what we find attractive. For example, if Ryan Reynolds or Megan Fox walked into the room, most people would recognise that they are attractive. But some people might prefer Jude Law or Ryan, or Scarlett Johannson to Megan.

      This is because beauty can take different forms. Being beautiful is about having a combination of attractive features, like (in women) large eyes, smooth skin, a youthful face, wide hips and many more. So people can have different combinations of these features and so be beautiful in different ways.
