Question: is they any way of learning how to live longer through learning more about the building blocks of life

None that I can see no, but that is far from what I know! One of the great things about science is you can never tell who is going to take your ideas and make something new from them. So although I may not myself do this, it would be great if someone else could come along and find something like that from my work.
