Question: in the near future, could scientists find a cure for cancer?

However this is a very tough job. Cancer is a name given to lots of different diseases that consist of mutated cells that cause damage. Different drugs that are used to fight cancer at the moment have different success rates depending on what type of cancer it is. Fortunaltely this is one area of research which gets a lot of money put towards it so there are a lot of different scientists looking for a cure. My boyfriends research is looking for a way of detecting if someone may develop cancer before they have by looking at their blood and their urine.

It might be a while yet but I believe the scientists will ge there in the end!
