Great to hear! There are many amazing facts about mammals but perhaps the most intriguing one (since many questions here have to do with animal intelligence as well) is that dolphins tend to look after not only their own species when someone is in trouble, but also others! For example, there recently was an incident where a shark tried to get close to some surfers in New Zealand. The dolphins started swimming around the surfers, forming what seemed to be a “protective circle”, and the surfers got out of the water unharmed. But dolphins are not all amazing and lovely, there is also a pretty dark fact about them – dolphin males are known to team up against single females and force them to mate with them.
