• Question: when do you think a big scinens brakethroug will next come?

      It’s hard to guess because it could be tomorrow or in a few years- there are many breakthroughs in science every day and it’s difficult to keep up! I’m particularly interested to see what comes of the LHC experiments in a few years and I’m very excited to see what people can come up with in terms of quantum computing and information technology. We may also see some breakthroughs in cancer treatment which would be amazing. Stem cell research is also an area I like to keep an eye on. I don’t think we’ll be waiting too long for our next great breakthrough.

      No idea! I think that is the point in breakthroughs – they are very hard to predict! 🙂

      I think the next big thing will be quantum computing and I think it will be soon, there are loads of people working on it as we speak.
