• Question: Which scientist made an oven?

      Wow hard question, and not sure it was even a scientist as such. People have been cooking food on fires for thousands of years. The first actual reference to an oven made from bricks and stone was in 1490 but with no reference to who actually made it. So afraid not sure anyone really knows that answer.

      The microwave was invented by a man named Percy Spencer

      Thomas Ahearn invented the electric oven in 1892, and James Sharpe patented the first gas stove in 1926

      If you mean the basic idea of cooking in a closed space, the tandoor for example has been around for centuries and certainly long before anyone would have called themselves a scientist.
      If you’re thinking of something more modern then Alex and Alison have given you some names.
