      Wow what a tough question. Probably that alongside my job I’m an advisor to the government – so they see me as an expert which is amazing!

      That’s a difficult question but the thing I’ve worked the hardest for was definitely my PhD, so I’d probably have to say that. Passing my driving test was a feeling I’ll never forget though!

      Running a half marathon without doing enough training!!! As a sports scientist I feel like I should really have known better than to run it without much training, but when I ran over the finish line I was so so happy – I actually cried!

      Workwise, my present position I suppose. Also being asked to give opening a closing talks a fairly important international physics conferences.
      Sportswise, being county champion at long jump; like Alison, I ran a half marathon and finished (but I did train properly first – I think I would have died if I hadn’t ;^).
      Lifewise, marrying the woman I love and having two wonderful kids.
