• Question: what is it like being a scientist ???

      Definitely good fun, every day is something different. You get to go in to work each day knowing that you’re doing experiments no one has ever done before and finding things out that no one else in the world knows.

      It’s definitely hard work, and science has the habit of often not working so there can be disappointment, but it’s definitely worth it.

      Every experiment you do is a bit different, so it’s really varied – not sure I could do a job where it’s all the same.
