Not my area of expertise – but I would imagine physics is one of the best subjects to study at school if aeronautics is what you want to do! In a physics class, you’ll learn about the principles of dynamics, which is the starting point on learning about how things like planes can actually fly.

I have studied some Physics in my first year at University!
There are different ways to get into aeronautics. I know quite a lot of specialists that got into aeronautics after studying Engineering!

If you are excited by it, you should go for it! I would have thought physics and maths would be key to getting in, but I don’t really know

I don’t know anything about this field (sorry). But if you can, try to get some work experience or shadowing of someone in that area. That will really help you when it comes to writing applications for jobs or university courses. Good luck!
