I wanted to be a veterinarian and also a marine biologist. You can see a biological theme to these choices. Turns out I was better at maths than biology, so I chose an area that uses maths (my skill), biology (my subject interest) and helping people and animals (through reducing disease risks). Looked at that way – it was an inevitable choice for me.
