      Oh what a good question…..i think the most exciting thing I studied was during my PhD where I was the first person in the world to try and make a new tendon in the lab that attached to bone. It was so cool and I still do some of that work now!

      Astrobiology – the science of finding out how life started on Earth, and where it might be elsewhere in the universe!

      Fascinating to learn about the earliest forms of life – still debate today about what the line on calling something “alive” is!
