Hello! One of my favourite books is Tintin comic collection, have you read them? Tintin travels all over the world, meet new and different people from everywhere and he is of course also a great detective. I learned so much by reading them! Magnus chase, sounds cool, did you read the latest one? Unfortunately, when I was a kid, these books were not around so I didn’t get a chance to read them.

This is tough. I like a lot of science fiction. My favourite author is Terry Pratchett who write the DiscWorld novels. They are such fun to read. I also like to read a lot of the boos associated with Star Wars, which are written by a variety of authors.

I have lots of favourite books so I am struggling to pick just one! The book I am reading at the moment is a murder mystery by Val McDermid and it is set in Edinburgh. It’s really cool to hear the stories about the place where I am now living!

My favourite book as a child was either Matilda by Roald Dahl or The Enchanted Wood stories by Enid Blyton. I remember my dad reading them to me when I was little and I’m looking forward to reading them to my own daughter when she is a little older 🙂

Terry Pratchett, Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl? Can we stop the science and go read some books instead??

I am a fan of science fiction and, more recently, fantasy as well. I have hundreds of books, particularly Star Trek from all through my childhood – I really really don’t have any room for any more!

These days I have a couple of favourite authors – Jonathan Maberry, who likes writing books about zombies, bioweapons and all kinds of disasters, and Jack Campbell, who writes a lot of military science fiction. I also quite like Stephen King, for some horror, as well.

I am a big fan of fantasy fiction …..monsters magic etc so the best book would have to be the original books about Lord of the Rings by Tolkein.
