      stomach acid – it allows us to digest food and frees up the energy to let us live our lives

      My favourite acid mixture is ‘Aqua regia’ (which means Royal water in Latin).

      Its a mix of hydrochloride acid and nitric acid – both are pretty strong on their own but if you mix them the solution becomes even stronger. At first it is colourless but then it turns orange and fizzes – so looks like Iron Bru!

      It’s brilliant for cleaning things and dissolving metals.
      It’s one mixture that will actually dissolve gold!
