      Yes! this is one of the best bits of science. But its also good to repeat what someone has done before to see if you get the same results. If you don’t get the same results you may also be on the way to discovering something new – why things don’t always work out the same way every time.

      Yes! I love doing new experiments as you are a scientist searching for the truth! Makes me feel like an explorer discovering treasure.

      It’s exactly what research in science is all about. Its about thinking about and designing experiments that may not have been done before and see if the results match your predicted answer (your hypothesis!).

      It’s how we learn new things, develop new techniques and make discoveries. Another important part of this is sharing how not to do things – so that others don’t try the same experiment and waste their time or factor in something that may not have originally been taken into consideration.
