  Yes it would. Today around 10 % of the worlds energy is generated from nuclear power. It doesn’t produce greenhouse gases so doesn’t contribute much to global warming.
  If nuclear energy was banned we’d have to find a new way to meet this energy demand and decommission existing nuclear power plants- decommissioning costs millions of pounds, takes about 100 years and is very dangerous.
