  I am working on lead perovskites. Lead is one of the elements in the material, and perovskite is the type of structure the compound makes. They are very good at absorbing sunlight and converting it to electricity, as well as being relatively easy to make in comparison to the current solar panels. These will be able to increase our reliance on solar energy, which will reduce our carbon emissions and use of fossil fuels.
