I just got really angry about the “power” – how big corporations and big politicians rule the world (and refuse to deal with climate change) with no regards to what citizens want.

I believe great changes can be made at the level of the city – there are so many fantastic local businesses, charities and mayors who are really dedicated to doing something about the environment we live it. That’s why I work with Bristol politicians and change makers trying to change the world one city at the time 😉

Well, when I was at school I wanted to be a vet, just like you!
But I think the first time I saw a lab, when I did work experience, was when I knew that I wanted to be a scientist working with state of the art technology to make new discoveries.

I would say being exposed to research at University is what motivated me. It made me realise that I am also able to make a difference.
