Haha, I might be a bit obsessed with my research but I certainly do other things as well. I am a big believer in balance in life and try to make time for work, friendships, family and hobbies.

I work usually from 9.30 to 5.30 five days a week. Which means that I have most of evenings and weekends free!

The good thing about getting a job when you finish school is that there is no homework!! (usually)
So like Ola, I work pretty hard during the week, and sometimes get home late, but always find plenty of time to have fun during the weekends and in the evenings. I am just about to leave work now to go and watch my boss speak at an event about why its important for more women to get into science. I am promised there will be plenty of free food and wine, so that should be pretty good!

Somedays I could do science all day, others no way! I try and keep normal working hours like a normal adult, but there are somedays when I will work late, or leave early depending on what is going on. I still have time to see my friends, go to the pub, hang out at college, exercise etc alongside being a scientist!

I love science but I do not spend the whole day on it. I am at work for 8 hours a day and during the weekends I relax and spend time with family and friends.
