        I like to be optimistic and say yes. This is because there are a variety of renerwable energy technologies – wind, solar, hydro etc which we can spread the dependence across. It will take a global effort and co-operation, e.g. the UK isnt a prime spot for solar panels whereas deserts in Africa and America are, so having the panels installed there and then distributing that energy around the world could be an option.
