Question: Do you think photovoltaic panels are the future of energy generation, or should we be going for more hydro based power generation?

I think we will need a combination of both, along with other renewables. Solar isnt the answer for every country or area – for example in the UK we dont get as many sunlight hours as in Dubai, therefore solar panels may have a bigger role in Dubai’s renewable energy supply. Similarly having a wind turbine where it is never windy wont be much use. The future of energy generation from renewables will be controlled by each countries/areas needs and environment.
