To some extent yes, although I think technology is there to make our lives more simple.

The technology develops really fast and usually it is included in people’s lives without the “manual” how to use it right. For example, look at ready meals, they’re convenient, save time on cooking and you don’t need any skills, but are we losing an important part of the culture by eating less at the table in a group of friends/family?

In terms of energy (it’s energy zone at the end of the day), there is an argument about something called “rebound effect”. It says that improvements in technology are likely to cause us using more energy in the long run. because we are more likely to use more energy if it’s cheaper (per unit ) and easily accessible. Think about electric cars, for example. If they’re cheap and available, everyone is likely use them, which might not be better for the environment (e..g in terms of traffic and overall emissions) than the combination of electric cars+public transport+cycling. Therefore every technology invention needs to come with research about potential impacts on human behaviour!

I know where you’re coming from but I try to think more positively than that.
The same technology that might make some people lazy, for example television, has also done a lot of great things for society. Before the internet, it gave normal people easy access to things like the weather, the news and educational documentaries.
Overall, I like to think that the benefits of these things outweigh the negatives.
