I got advice mainly from people who had already been where I am now and already have vast knowledge and experience, typically professors.

I talked to my chemistry teachers when I thought I might like to study chemistry at university, then once I was at university I was surrounded by professors who were doing scientific research so there were plenty of people to talk to there.

        Hello,

I talked a lot to my older friends who were scientists. I also asked my lecturers if they see me in research and they encouraged me to do so!:)

I spoke to my A-level teachers about doing science at Uni, and then when I was there spoke to my supervisors and lecturers, so mainly other scientists.
