      Yup – to make my materials, I mix chemicals together and make them into a pellet. Some of these chemicals involve raw elements like cerium, manganese, or arsenic, so I get to use them and do experiments with them.

      I am looking at how plants remove heavy metals from water. Heavy metals are a set of elements that all have relatively high density and are poisonous are low concentrations.
