      Definitely hydrogen.
It’s the simplest element in the Universe (because it has just one proton and one electron), but it is the most abundant, meaning it’s literally everywhere!! There are HUGE clouds of it in the galaxies everywhere, and when those clouds collapse, they form stars which burn the hydrogen as fuel (doing something called nuclear fusion). So not only is it everywhere, but it’s also the main star fuel! Wouldn’t this be cool to control?

Also, if I could control hydrogen, I could use the same nuclear reaction that happens in stars and the sun to make energy here, on Earth. This would mean an almost infinite source of completely clean energy that humans could use for thousands and thousands of years, without ever making pollution (the only by-product is helium, which is really not dangerous, it’s what you put in floating balloon and makes you talk funny when you breath it in). That would really be amazing. Over with oil and fossil fuels and the green-house gases they produce!

I agree with Laurence on this one 🙂 Hydrogen would be awesome as you can use it to make the rest of the elements in the periodic table relatively easily (need to find a source of electrons though…)
So I wouldn’t need the rest of the elements 🙂

Hydrogen does sound pretty cool, but I’ll answer something different just to be different! All life on Earth is Carbon-based, so I’ll go with Carbon because I guess that would mean that if I controlled all the Carbon I’d be in charge of everyone and everything!
