haha, the topic that I’m researching? Personality wise a lot of scientists have similar traits (i.e. curious, want to know more etc…), so as a person I don’t think I’m any different to any other scientist ever.

Besides that, I’m Aimee, and I’m the only Aimee I know who is researching metamaterials 🙂

Like Aimee, I don’t think I’m too different to other scientists: many of us share similar personalities of being curious and motivated to find the truth.

We’re all pretty similar. Scientists aren’t anything special, we’re just like everybody else, except that we’re lucky enough be to paid to do something we love! Not everybody is lucky enough to do that.

Well, I’m pretty sure there has never been anyone exactly exactly like me (and I don’t have any identical twin that I know of…), so I guess that would make me different from any other scientist?
But then, more than that, it’s had to say… Different people have very different ways of understanding different problems, that’s why it’s so interesting to discuss with other scientists to have their point of view. I probably also have unique ways to looks at things, but just by myself it’s hard to realize!
