Question: what do you think will happen to the computer world in the future?

We will see very lots of computers with hundreds of processors in them. Portable devices will become powerful enough and versatile enough for most people to carry their PC around with them. 3D gaming will become the norm.

But… Computational models of weather and fluid flow will still take a week to run because the models will still be more complex than the computer can reasonably manage. Not because the computers haven’t advanced but because the models will have become more complex
