My favourite is actually Bionanotechnology – so tiny tiny particles which can be used like medicine. But I also really love my current field of Organic Chemistry!

I really liked the inorganic chemistry topics. Being able to build up a substance or a catalyst by changing how the reaction took place was really interesting.

I am really interested in bioinorganic chemistry (this is what i did my PhD in). It is understanding the role of metals in biology and how we can use molecules with metals in for biological uses such as treating cancer. The medicince cisplatin in a platinum based drug which is really good at treating testicular cancer where it has helped increase cure rates from 10% to 85%!
