      My favourite chemical is ferrocene. It’s an iron ion sandwiched between two 5- carbon rings. We actually call chemicals like this ‘sandwich complexes’!
      I like it because it is quite unusual and can be orange or blue depending on wether it has a charge or not.

      It sounds really boring but water. The work I look at we need very pure chemicals to make sure we have a very pure product. The water quality can make a huge difference to what I receive at the end of my experiments. Its something that is often overlooked.

      My favourite chemical is 1,3,7-Trimethylpurine-2,6-dione I don’t think I could get through my day with out it!

      My favourite chemical is “amino acid”. Amino acids are like little bricks that make big molecules called proteins. Our hair, nails, skin and part of our bones are made of proteins. That means we are like big lego people 😀
