All of my work involves Zirconium (Zr) so I guess I have to say this is my favourite. Without that element, I probably wouldn’t have a job!

As an Organic Chemist I should say Carbon since that’s what our work primarily focuses on, but in reality it’s Cobalt because it’s a really beautiful colour!

      Take a look!

Iron is my favorite element. There is so much of it on earth that biology has found lots of uses for it, such as in haemoglobin to transport oxygen around your body.
I worked with iron and sulfur containing molecules for four years… but sulfur is too stinky to be anyone’s favorite element.
This is a picture of one of the iron containing things I made – the were quite nice orange/red colours: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D_Bx5R8XoAAvg9e?format=jpg&name=4096×4096
