      The heaviest naturally occuring element is Uranium (92 on the periodic table) but we have made heavier elements for fractions of seconds. They become too unstable at higher masses to exist in their own and start to break down almost immediately!

      Ununoctium is the heaviest element, but it is man-made. The heaviest naturally-occurring element is uranium (atomic number 92, atomic weight 238.0289).
