      I find office work a lot more boring than doing experiments in the lab but it is definitively necessary to spend some time in the office too. I receive quite a lot of emails and it is important to read them and respond.

      I don’t think anyone loves admin – unfortunately I do have to do some admin 🙁

      Most of the stuff I do in the office is looking at results and planning new experiments so that’s fun.

      It can be – fortunately a fair bit of my office work is still about seeing how things are working on plant and why they are going wrong, which is pretty interesting and exciting to handle!
