Over population is a problem, but at the moment, if we all used materials with moderation, we do actually have enough for everyone. The issues stem from the fact that affluent countries (like the UK, USA, Japan, China etc) are using a huge proportion of the earth’s resources, because we can buy them, leaving not very much for the poorer countries to use! If we only took what we needed rather than everything we wanted there would be enough!

Certain parts of the world are over populated and this does mean some people have a harder time living. Some materials are abundant but others are starting to be more and more limited. Oil for example will run out one day and we will have to all change our living habits.

Hi! the problem with over population is that we need a lot more food for al the people and we generate a lot more waste. Natural resources produced by the planet is limited so we need to be careful and recycle our resources as much as possible so we do not run out of them.
