• Question: How long would it take for a spider to drown in mercury?

      Mercury is so dense that a spider could just walk around on top of it! It’s incredibly toxic though so the poor spider probably wouldn’t last long afterwards…
      If you look on youtube there are videos of people ‘floating’ everyday objects on little pools of mercury.
