I broke my arm when I was a kid and all my friends at school signed my cast. At the end, I was sad because we had to cut it to remove it. I wanted to keep it! 😀

A fellow colleague managed to splash an acid onto her trousers. She was rushed to hospital to neutralise it as it had started to dissolve her skin and nearly reached her bone. I didn’t see the injury but she tells me the hole was not small by the time they had sorted her out.

In science? Not personally, and luckily no one I know has ever had one. Outside of science I’ve sprained my ankle (it swelled up to the size of a tennis ball, it was gross), had a concussion and broken my thumb. I also know someone who broke their neck :/
