  I was, at one point, asked to make a really dangerous chemical, which is illegal in most countries, but not in the one it was being sent to. The chemical had been responsible for killing several pets and even a human in the recent past in said country. It was ethically horrendous as well as being incredibly hard for us to make and keep the people we work with safe!
  
  I refused to make that one. Twice.

  I would never make the synthesis of drugs such as LSD. Once someone asked me but I refused.

  I would never do any reactions with methyl mercury. It’s a terribly poisonous chemical and even experts have had problems with it: https://www.sciencemag.org/news/1997/06/mercury-poisoning-kills-lab-chemist
