Lithium is a metal. If you zoom into lithium metal, you will see that at the very small scale, lithium is made up of many many identical atoms. Each lithium atom has 3 protons and 4 neutrons in the nucleus, and 3 electrons outside the nucleus of the atom.

Nowadays, you can find lithium in most phone, laptop, and car batteries.
