• Question: how can we stop pollution

      That’s a tough one! I think if there was an easy answer then we would have stopped pollution by now!

      I think it needs a double ended approach- on the one side we need to stop producing pollution and on the other we need to somehow undo all the mess that we have made already.

      So if I was in charge I would probably make the following proposals:
      1) Everyone to use renewable energy, stop putting the by-effects of oil and gas into our air
      2) Recycle all of our waste! That means that some things we need to figure out how to recycle so I would get some scientists working on that. Maybe teach in schools how to reuse things in inventive ways too.
      3) Get some people working on a way to restore all the rubbish we have in our environment. That means soaking up the carbon dioxide and acids in our air and all the icky chemicals in our water etc. I have no idea how to do that by myself, but maybe if everyone works together we could come up with something.

      Lots of people are already working on this but we don’t seem to have a really good solution yet!
