• Question: why dont you like flying planes

      Hi fizzy – you remembered my comment from the chat then! 🙂

      I am not sure – I don’t really like the sensation of being way above the ground and I don’t like all the hassle with the waiting around at the airport. I also had a couple of bad experiences when I used to fly (bad landings/takeoff). 🙁

      I much prefer to travel by train if I can. If I have a science meeting in Europe I go by Eurostar – this is almost as quick as by plane for many places.
